I am in love with the Beach Rose!

I love its beauty. I love its bristly protection. I love its vulnerability. I love its survival skills. And I love how it holds the energy of the ocean, with each wave, handing us a chance for renewal and replenishment. I love its essence on every level, through to its core.

It is strength and Love and vulnerability. And it never complains. Each time I sit with this beautiful, ancient, pink flower, it shows me something deeper. It offers a simplicity and an openness and a soothing, so deep, so limitless, it never ends. It holds my heart and offers it back to me in golden cupped hands. It is unwavering in its strength... always there, always a chance for forgiveness, for letting go and coming back around. And with it, there is a deep honoring for how I arrived here, to this point in my life and an even deeper insight into the gifts that have come as a result.

Beach Rose brings the warmth of the heart and the insight of the 3rd eye into alignment. Wisdom and compassion pour in. New, refreshing perceptions, ‘ah-ha moments’, are brought to Light. Vivid dreams show up.
Beach Rose flower essence holds the heart in simplicity and openness. It calms the fight or flight response so that our essence is allowed to flourish.

For those who may resort to passive-aggressive behaviors because of a lack of self-compassion; for those who run from vulnerability; for those who vigilantly hold on to past hardships; for those who need to see the gifts in this life; for those who are stuck in survival mode.

I came to energy work in 2001 at a time in my life where I was shattered. I had lost myself. There were too many endings and there was no clear path forward that I could see. But as doors closed all around me, I was guided onto a Reiki table. Here I found safety in my body, finally …and an amazing new reality in an unseen world. I worked hard to look at all parts of me as they were offered up. And… I went into total remission and off all meds after 30 years and 7 surgeries for Crohn’s Disease.

All forms of energy work then became my passion. I studied Reiki, flower essences, crystals, essential oils and tarot. I studied with Shaman here and in Peru and climbed high in the Andes mountains. I cleared houses and businesses of unwanted energies. I did Soul Retrievals for my clients. I sat with the dying, helping them in their last moments. I co-taught Medicine Wheel and Advanced Medicine Wheel. I officiated weddings. I had dogs and cats as clients. I studied with Gabrielle Roth, learning 5-rhythm dance. But most of all, this journey brought me to a place where I fell head over heels in love with the healing power of the flowers.

And now I invite you to remember the wisdom Mother Earth offers us.
